Ø Accpac for DOS implementation in South Africa in 1997. This was a challenging project as it was my first major project and also Mobil Oil South Africa was a new company being setup without any system in place. I did the business analysis, business procedures and training.
Ø Y2K project in 1998. I was the key person in the testing of Accpac For DOS (A4D) & Accpac for Windows (A4W) Year 2000 Compliancy. This was done for all Mobil affiliates worldwide. I got an award from Mobil Africa because the project was a success.
Ø A4W implementation in Gabon in 1999. This was a major crucial project as it was the first installation without a business analyst and first installation of A4W running on Windows NT (all other installations were on Novell). There was no known security in place and coming up with a water tight security was a big challenge.
Ø Master File Audit System (MFAS) project. When changes are made to the Accpac Master files, no audit trail is generated. This system produced an audit trail each time a change was made to Accounts Payable (vendor) master records or Accounts Receivable (customer) master records.
Ø Conversion of A4D to A4W in Mobil Oil Sudan. This was the first time such a project was done for Mobil and also the first time Accpac was going to run on a Terminal Server with security being implemented.
Ø Remediation project for A4W in all Mobil Oil affiliates to improve security and reduce incidences of fraud. Implemented patches/upgrades in Mobil Oil Gabon, Cameroun, Senegal, Congo and Kenya in 2001.
Ø Involvement in the development, testing and implementation of Distributed Processing, Order To Pay and other side applications for A4W affiliates.
Ø Network administration and security for COE for thirty users.
